Browsing the site

Ensure you are using an up-to-date version of your preferred Web browser, preferably one that adheres to current standards, such as Mozilla Firefox or Opera. All versions of Internet Explorer are also compatible; these browsers are all available to download free of charge from the Internet.

Viewing online materials

This site is designed for screen resolutions of 800 x 600 and above. To view PDF materials, you must download and install a free PDF viewer, such as Foxit Reader or Adobe Reader.

Slow loading

All images have been optimised for fast download even on dial-up connections; if they are taking a long time to load, our site may be experiencing a great deal of traffic. If all websites you visit are slow to load, your connection may not be operating at optimal speed. Wait ten minutes and retry, before seeking assistance.

Text Size

The resizing buttons at the top right of each page allow temporary text resizing, but will only apply to the current page and browsers newer than IE6. This is because we currently prefer not to store cookies; if you wish to increase text size for all pages, try pressing 'Ctrl' and '+' or '-', or selecting 'View > Text Size' in Internet Explorer 6 or Mozilla Firefox.

Fonts

If fonts appear to be low quality, you may like to try updating your Web Browser. If the fonts are of abnormal size (very large or small) you can adjust this from the 'View' menu on your Browser. This site uses only relative font sizes, which can be rescaled to your preference.
